1. Who we are
Innovation Consult (Pty) Ltd (registration 2007/021390/07), 114 Sol Plaatjie Avenue, Potchefstroom, 2531, North West, South Africa, is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website and our contact channels. 2. What we collect, and how
- This website does not ask you for personal information. It has no forms, accounts or marketing cookies.
- When you contact us on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp number, profile name and the messages and files you send.
- When you email us, we receive your email address, name and whatever you include in your message.
- When you visit the site, our hosting and security provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our visitor statistics are aggregated and do not use cookies or identify you.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, arrange a demo or pilot, and provide support for our products.
- To keep a record of our communications with you.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To send you news or product information, only if you have asked us to.
We process your information because you asked us to (to respond to you or take steps towards a contract), because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing our business, or, for marketing, with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time, for example by replying STOP on WhatsApp.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with operators who help us run our business, under terms that require them to protect it:

5. Information sent outside South Africa
WhatsApp and Cloudflare process some information outside South Africa. We rely on these providers being subject to laws, binding rules or agreements that give a level of protection substantially similar to POPIA, as section 72 requires. If you prefer that your enquiry stays in South Africa, email us instead of using WhatsApp.
We plan to introduce an automated assistant on WhatsApp that helps route enquiries to the right team. Before it goes live we will update this notice to describe it, including any processing outside South Africa, and the assistant will tell you that it is automated and offer you a person at any time.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to deal with you. Under our house policy, enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted or de-identified after 24 months. Records linked to a contract are kept for as long as the law requires.
7. How we protect it
Access to our mailboxes and WhatsApp account is limited to the people who need it and protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication. The website is served over encrypted connections only.
8. Your rights
You may ask us whether we hold your personal information and request access to it, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing it, and withdraw consent to marketing. Send your request to legal@innovationconsult.co.za. We may need to confirm your identity first.
If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, please tell us first. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za.
9. Our products
Legal-OS, Election Campaign OS and ICPMO each have their own privacy terms, which apply when you use those products.
10. Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
