Comply before you campaign.
A campaign and constituency platform built around South African law. It totals every donor against the funding thresholds, will not store a voter without a consent record, walls each party's data off from every other party's, and turns doorstep complaints into signed referrals.

What Election Campaign OS does
Offline-first field operations
Canvassers capture voters, households, incidents and diary entries through load-shedding and rural dead zones. Data syncs when a connection returns.
POPIA by design
No voter record without a consent method, date and reference. Phone numbers are masked, users see only their ward, and the audit trail is append-only.
Party-funding tracking
Nightly donor totals per financial year, alerts at the R200,000 disclosure threshold, warnings near the R30 million cap, and a quarterly disclosure export for a person to sign off.
Incident-to-council referrals
Doorstep service complaints move through triage and authorisation into a signed referral to the municipality, with an integrity hash.
Ward-level intelligence
Coverage and support by voting district, War Room scorecards and a seat calculator that follows Schedule 1 of the Municipal Structures Act.
Every ward and voter reconciles
The reference build for JB Marks (NW405) reconciles exactly to the gazette: 34 wards, 108 voting stations, 26 split voting districts and 122,059 voters, at ward and municipal level. The seat engine lands exactly on the 67 proclaimed council seats.
Data is stored in Google Cloud's Johannesburg region. The one exception, a sign-in identifier and email address processed by the authentication service, is disclosed under POPIA section 72.
What we will not claim
Election Campaign OS publishes a Capability and Limitations Statement. It says what the platform does and, at equal length, what it will not claim. Each claim is tied to an automated test.
- It tracks funding thresholds; it does not certify compliance or block donations.
- It prepares disclosure exports; a person submits them to the Electoral Commission.
- It suppresses records on request; it does not claim data is erased.

Every party on the same terms
Every party gets the same published modules on the same terms, with no hidden modules or per-party switches. Each party's data is isolated in three independent places. We analyse wards, not people, and we publish no party names, results commentary or predictions.
After the election: every case, followed through
The Councillor Casework Tracker is R2,500 per ward a month from 5 November 2026.
